These Terms and Conditions ("Terms," "Agreement") apply to both registered and unregistered users of the Bor Bou website (borbou.com.bd) and the Bor Bou mobile application (collectively, the "Service"). Please read these Terms carefully before registering as a user of our Service. By using our Service, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and unconditionally agreed to these Terms.
Bor Bou reserves the right to modify this Agreement, change features, or terminate memberships at any time without prior notice. You may review our updated Terms on this page at any time. Continued use of the Service after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the new or revised Terms.
1) To use Bor Bou, you must register through a mobile device or computer. By using the Bor Bou website or app, you agree to be legally bound by the provisions of this Agreement, which constitutes an electronic contract. This Agreement remains valid, binding, and in effect for as long as you continue to use our Service.
2) By using the services of the Bor Bou website, you consent to the collection, processing, display, and use of your personally identifiable information, including sensitive personal details such as your professional identity, educational qualifications, physical description, and religion. If you have any objection to the collection, processing, display, or use of your personal information, we sincerely request that you do not register on our website. If you wish to share your biodata with other members and users in accordance with our Terms, please complete the registration process and fill out your complete biodata.
3) To register as a member of Bor Bou or use this website, you must be of legal marriageable age under Bangladeshi law (currently 18 years or older for women, and 21 years or older for men).
4) The sole purpose of the Bor Bou website is to facilitate communication and connections between individuals of legal marriageable age through biodata profiles. By using this site, you grant permission for your biodata to be published on our platform and, where necessary, viewed or collected by others for matrimonial purposes.
5) By using this site, you represent and warrant that you are of legal age to enter into this Agreement, that you have the right and authority to do so, that you have the right to provide the information we request, and that there is no restriction under any current or previous applicable law, court order, tribunal judgment, or other relevant authority that legally prohibits you from marrying.
6) From the date of your registration with Bor Bou, and for as long as you remain a registered member or user, you confirm that you have no objection to receiving emails, SMS messages, and calls from Bor Bou or from other members/users, as necessary for our services.
7) Bor Bou operates based on the information provided by you. We rely on the assumption that the information provided in your biodata is true and accurate, whether completed by you personally or, with your consent, by your family, friends, relatives, or a third party on your behalf. By completing your biodata, you agree to share all of your provided information with other members of Bor Bou. Bor Bou is under no obligation to verify the truthfulness or accuracy of the information provided in your biodata. You bear full responsibility for any complaints or disputes regarding the truthfulness or accuracy of your information.
8) You certify that all personally identifiable information you provide — including your professional identity, educational qualifications, physical description, religion, and other sensitive personal information — is completely true and accurate. Registering under a false identity or impersonation, or creating a biodata with false information, will be considered a violation of law, and the associated membership will be terminated.
9) Multiple biodata profiles for the same individual are not permitted on the Bor Bou website. Bor Bou reserves the full right to review the activity of each registered account and, in response to such review, to revoke a member's account access and deactivate any duplicate biodata profiles.
10) You confirm your agreement to fully comply with the terms of this Agreement. If it is determined at any time that you are not eligible for membership, or that you have provided false statements or inaccurate information, Bor Bou reserves the right to immediately terminate your membership and discontinue your access to the Service without refunding any unused fees.
11) Before a biodata is published on this website, both male and female users must have obtained permission from their guardian. Bor Bou will verify each biodata by contacting the user's guardian prior to approval.
12) Any information published on this website — including photographs, mobile numbers, email addresses, home addresses, and other personal information — may not be used for any commercial purpose, promotion, or advertisement. Biodata may only be viewed and collected for the purpose of finding a relevant match for matrimonial purposes among members. Collection or use of information from this website by any institution, organization, corporation, or company is strictly prohibited. Any such use will be considered unlawful activity and appropriate action will be taken.
13) You are fully responsible for any activity that occurs under your account, and you are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials or password chosen during registration. You must ensure that you log out of your account after each session, and you must remain aware of and responsible for any disclosure, unauthorized use, or other security breach related to your account.
14) If any member or user collects another member's biodata or attempts to psychologically or physically harm or abuse anyone, Bor Bou reserves the right to take any legal action against that individual.
15) Unregistered users may view published biodata only for their personal use. Using this website for any commercial purpose, promotion, or advertisement is strictly prohibited.
16) Registered members may view biodata published on this website only for matrimonial purposes. Members may contact the guardians of other members for personal and social purposes related to matrimony. Any use or communication for commercial or unlawful purposes is strictly prohibited. If any individual files a complaint against a member with supporting evidence, Bor Bou may take legal action against that member and permanently close their account.
17) Registered or unregistered members and users are strictly prohibited from taking screenshots, copying, or sharing links of their own or another person's biodata or any content from this website for the purpose of promoting it commercially or through advertisement, online, or on social media. If evidence of such misuse is found, Bor Bou reserves the right to take legal action against the member or user involved.
18) Access to certain features of Bor Bou requires payment through a secure, third-party payment gateway:
Fees paid for the registration fee, biodata download packages, or any other paid service are generally non-refundable. Please refer to our Payment & Refund Policy below for full details, including the limited exceptions under which a refund may be considered. If your account or biodata is closed due to a violation of any term outlined in this Agreement, you will not be eligible for a refund of any amount paid.
19) Face Verification: To prevent fake accounts and ensure a trustworthy matchmaking environment, Bor Bou captures a verification photo during registration. By registering, you consent to us capturing, storing, and retaining this verification photo. This photo is reviewed manually by our team, and no automated facial recognition or biometric technology is used in this process. Face verification is performed only once, at the time of registration. Your stored verification photo may later be manually compared against the photo(s) you upload to your biodata, to confirm that your biodata photo genuinely represents the verified person, helping ensure authentic matchmaking for all members.
20) Photo Privacy and Screenshot Restriction: To protect the privacy and security of our users' personal information and photographs, taking screenshots of and downloading profile pictures is restricted within our platform. Maintaining complete transparency across the platform remains one of our core commitments.
Our Policy
Bor Bou does not offer refunds for any completed service, including the registration fee and biodata download packages, once the service has been delivered or accessed. Both the registration fee and any biodata download package must be purchased through our secure payment gateway, and all such purchases are considered final and non-refundable, as our services provide immediate digital access upon payment.
Exception
A refund may only be considered in cases of a verified duplicate payment or a confirmed technical error where payment was deducted but the service (registration activation or biodata download access) was not delivered. Such issues must be reported to our customer support team on the same day the issue occurs, along with valid payment proof. Requests reported after the same day will not be eligible for a refund, as delayed reporting makes it significantly more difficult to verify and resolve the issue.

All property rights of the Bor Bou website and its services are owned and reserved by Bor Bou. The website includes the Bor Bou logo, licensed trademarks, copyrighted material, and other intellectual property. Information in the public domain, such as a member's biodata or photograph, or other personal information that has been permitted for publication and use, is subject to this same protection. If you attempt to misuse or violate this Agreement in any way, Bor Bou reserves the right to immediately suspend your registered account. Bor Bou also reserves the right to pursue any appropriate legal action (civil or criminal) as necessary.
Bor Bou publishes biodata based on the highest possible match with your preferences, helping you easily search for your preferred life partner. Bor Bou bears no responsibility whatsoever for any psychological, financial, or physical harm resulting from any relationship or marriage established through our services. Bor Bou does not guarantee the professional identity, educational qualifications, physical description, personal qualifications, or confirmed marriage commitment of any individual you meet through our Service. Information obtained from the published biodata on this platform is intended only to assist you in your decision-making process when searching for a life partner.
Your personal interactions and communications with Bor Bou members are entirely your own responsibility. However, Bor Bou reserves the right to monitor disputes between you and other members. If any member is unwilling to communicate or meet with you, forcing a relationship is strictly prohibited. Bor Bou explicitly disclaims all liability and responsibility for any financial transactions or improper personal relationships between members. Even if Bor Bou is informed of the possibility of such harm, Bor Bou shall never be liable, directly or indirectly, to you or any third party for any consequential or punitive damages.
By using the Bor Bou website, you unconditionally agree that any violation of the above Terms, or any issue related to the operation of the Service, may result in legal action against you and will be subject to the jurisdiction of the appropriate court. By using Bor Bou's membership or services, you unconditionally and irrevocably declare that you have read and understood the foregoing Terms and that you currently agree to receive our services. This Agreement is an electronic document that does not require a physical or digital signature, as it is generated and recorded by a computer system.
